Orlando activists are taking on a subject that’s rarely discussed in the black community: Mental Health. This session on Wednesday (April 11), which starts at 7 p.m. is the second-part of a mental health discussion that was organized by  Let Your Voice Be Heard, Inc. Mentally ill man killed by NY police Unfortunately, there’s a stigma about mental illness, which is why this subject is rarely addressed in the black community. Despite that, Let Your Voice Be Heard hosted the first part of the discussion a few weeks ago. It focused on post-traumatic stress. This second part that will be held at the  Three Masks  gallery (1023 W. Colonial, near the Orange Blossom Trail) will focus on strategies to maintain a good mental health.
